Preschool Program ...

Children between the ages of three and five years of age who demonstrate one or more disabilities which require special education and other related services may be enrolled in Kennedy Child Study Center's Preschool Program.

Our preschool program is staffed by a licensed and/or certified professional staff of:

Special Education Teachers

Social Workers

Speech and Language Pathologists

 Occupational Therapists

 Physical therapists

Health Professionals

Because Kennedy Child Study's Center has an on-site Clinic Treatment Program with a staff of pediatricians, psychiatrists and nurses, many children with multiple disabilities and medical frailties, who might otherwise be homebound, are able to attend our Preschool Program

Kennedy Child Study Center is Approved by the New York State Education Department to provide special education and assessment services to children between the ages of three and five years of age.  All program services are provided at no cost to parents.  Tuition is funded by the New York State Education Department and New York City Board of Education.

Admission to the program requires a referral from the New York City Board of Education Department's Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE)
